920 A 41st Avenue
Santa Cruz, CA 95062
We are near the end of 41st Avenue next to Cycle Sport and across from Taqueria Vallarta.
There is a rear parking lot off Bain Avenue, as well as parking on Bain and also on 41st.
You can enter the building through the backdoor adjacent to the parking lot or the front door facing 41st.
At Niji Dojo, you'll see lion artwork and a little plush lion cub named Goldie hanging out in the plants.
Cats are my favorite animals and lions are the most community-oriented of all the big cats.
Lionesses in particular take care of each other, lounge together, share food, and nurture each other's young.
All cats are autonomous, powerful, graceful, playful, and fierce.
In the Tarot, the lion symbolizes inner strength.
Special thanks to my friend, Kara Capaldo, who took this gorgeous photo of a pride in Kenya.
